Metropolitan Management Group (MMG) seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our Operations team at the Ponds at Village Greens in Sinking Spring, PA. This full-time role manages maintenance across residential properties with a focus on safety, efficiency, and timely repairs.

Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, diagnosing issues, planning projects, supervising maintenance staff, and keeping cost records. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel to different properties as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, appliances, painting/drywall, carpentry, heating and cooling systems, and welding is a plus.
• Trade school training a plus.

Metropolitan Management Group (MMG) is looking for a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team! If you have experience or training in residential or commercial maintenance repair, this may be the job for you! This role will be at our Ponds at Village Green apartment community in Sinking Spring, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Makes regular inspections of assigned buildings and facilities to insure it is kept according to requirements.
• Diagnoses existing problems and initiates needed action.
• Plans and schedules necessary maintenance, establishing work and activity priorities.
• Prepares, plans, sketches and carries out projects.
• Maintains an inventory of equipment and supplied. Issues and orders equipment and supplies and supervises necessary maintenance.
• Performs various maintenance and repair tasks.
• Supervises skilled or semi-skilled employees in maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, cement work, masonry, and other general upkeep which involves furnishings, structures, floor covering, equipment, heating, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, and related systems.
• Maintains cost and time records.
• Schedules relief, emergency, and vacation coverage.
• Follows safety regulations and standards, and all policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while maintaining excellent communication to manager

Requirements:

• 3 year of prior related experience is preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license
