Metropolitan Management Group (MMG) is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for the Preserve at Whispering Woods community in Coraopolis, PA. The role involves managing maintenance operations across multiple properties, performing inspections, and coordinating repair tasks to ensure quality living environments.

The position requires strong maintenance hands-on skills, the ability to lead a team, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel to different properties as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, appliances, painting/drywall, carpentry, heating, air handling systems, mechanical repairs on vehicles and welding is a plus.
• Trade school training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Makes regular inspections of buildings and facilities to ensure it is kept per requirements.
• Diagnoses problems and initiates needed action.
• Plans and schedules maintenance, sets work priorities.
• Prepares, plans, sketches and executes projects.
• Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies; handles orders; supervises maintenance.
• Performs various maintenance and repair tasks.
• Supervises tradesstaff in carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, electrical and related systems.
• Maintains cost and time records.
• Schedules relief, emergency and vacation coverage.
• Follows safety regulations and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
