Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join its team at an apartment community in Boston, MA. The Lead Maintenance Technician will perform routine, preventative and emergency maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, locks & keys, carpentry, painting and drywall, as well as janitorial, grounds and snow removal.

The role requires strong communication, initiative, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
• Solid computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative and emergency maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, locks, carpentry, painting and drywall.
• Handle janitorial, grounds and snow removal.
• Respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner and coordinate with the Service Manager.
