Job summary

Otsuka ICU Medical in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to work independently within established procedures, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on complex production equipment. You will evaluate equipment, document modifications, and mentor junior technicians while supporting engineering in new designs.

The role requires 6–10 years of industrial mechanical/electrical experience, ability to read engineering drawings, and proficiency with MS Office, PLC

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma; associate degree preferred.
• Requires 6-10 years of experience with industrial mechanical, electrical or similar systems.
• Preferred to have skills or experience in welding, pipe fitting, sheet metal work, and/or hydraulic hose fabrication.
• Must be able to interpret Engineering specifications and read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the successful completion of maintenance tasks or process improvements.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
• Train other plant personnel in procedures and operations as directed.
• Oversee and review work and coordinate maintenance activities as needed.
