Job summary

Daikin Comfort in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, and rebuild production equipment, and to perform preventative maintenance per schedule. You will read schematics, interpret electrical and pneumatic diagrams, and work with Fiix CMMS to record work orders.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with DC drives and PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron), and a commitment to safety and 6S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in industrial maintenance and hands-on repair of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with PLCs and motor drives; capable of debugging to component level.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and rebuild production equipment including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Coordinate maintenance with production to minimize impact on output.
• Respond to repair requests from production and management; perform preventative maintenance.
• Assist with equipment installation and scheduling of maintenance projects.
• Record all work in Fiix CMMS and maintain accurate records.
• Read mechanical drawings and electrical blueprints; ensure safety compliance and 6S.
