Job summary

MITER Brands in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a lead maintenance tech with a strong mechanical and electrical background to join our manufacturing team. You will work 3pm–11:30pm, on a Monday–Friday schedule, and contribute to uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing plant.
• Certification from college or technical school preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures.
• Conduct simple preventive maintenance: lubrication, cleaning, and part replacements.
• Fabricate or repair simple metal projects.
• Assist technicians to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC controlled CNCs, welders, and saws.
• Maintain data entry for required logs.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE.
