Job summary

Live Bryten is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician Lead for our Lexington, KY community at 1155-Valore at the Baxter. You will perform a wide range of maintenance and repairs and support the Maintenance Supervisor to keep buildings safe, attractive, and well‑maintained for residents and guests.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of maintenance experience and strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance knowledge.
• HVAC/trade certifications preferred.
• Ability to read diagrams and safety docs.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Able to work on-call and overtime.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Assist with apartment make-ready and vacancy preparation.
• Support daily maintenance operations and prioritize work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems and components.
• Inspect apartments, common areas, and grounds for safety.
• Assist with groundskeeping and upkeep of community.
• Maintain accurate work order records and documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors and on-site teams; participate in on-call rotation.
• Follow OSHA safety policies; promote a safe environment.
