MG Properties is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician for 3300 Tamarac Apartments in Denver, CO. The role covers maintenance across all trades, managing requests, and coordinating a maintenance team to ensure a safe, well-maintained living environment.

The position emphasizes customer service, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance, with responsibilities including on-call support and coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor. Compensation includes bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires at least two years’ experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent field.
• Able to maintain adequate inventory to minimize disruption of operations.
• Able to schedule effectively to maximize team efficiency.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent Training.
• Valid Driver’s License with proof of current liability insurance.
• Knowledge of Basic Mechanical Concepts; HVAC certifications where required; CPO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance tasks personally or delegates to Maintenance Technicians.
• Oversees and inspects work performed by Maintenance Technicians.
• Manages system for handling resident service requests; responds within 24 hours where possible.
• Assists Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating staff and schedules maintenance for 24/7 emergency readiness.
• Diagnoses and performs minor and routine maintenance and repair in assigned areas.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials; ensures safety standards are met.
