Job summary

Fogelman is seeking an HVAC-certified Lead Maintenance Technician for Conwood Flats Harborside in downtown Memphis. The role requires 5+ years of maintenance experience, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Compensation includes a $1,500 hiring bonus, biweekly pay, on-call stipends, and strong benefits. You will complete service requests, perform make-readies, manage tools and supplies, and ensure safety standards while delivering excellent resident

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily or similar setting.
• HVAC certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal) required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair; able to use computers and online apps.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests and make-readies as assigned.
• Maintain and inventory supplies and equipment; supply personal tools.
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures; communicate with residents and vendors.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Support preventive maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds.

Conwood Flats Harborside in downtown Memphis is hiring an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician. Must be HVAC certified (Universal or Type 1 & 2)

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of maintenance experience, is HVAC certified, proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair, has superior customer service skills, a team-oriented mindset, is reliable, honest, and committed to high-quality work. Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing maintenance service requests and repairs to the buildings and grounds as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor while providing excellent customer service to our residents.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for completing all service requests as assigned.
• Responsible for the completion of all make-ready units.
• Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
• Responsible for supplying all personal tools.
• Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment.
• Assists in preventive maintenance projects.
• Escalate unresolved service issues to the Service Director.
• Participates in "on call" rotation and responds to emergency calls as needed.
• Responsible for positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
• Be aware of and operate within company safety policies at all times.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Skills

• Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
• HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in the following areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient in use of computers and online applications.
• Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.
• Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.
