Job summary

SRMC in Columbus, OH seeks a Maintenance Team Lead to oversee daily maintenance across up to 600 scattered-site units. You will lead a team, coordinate repairs, and ensure safety and compliance with codes, while maintaining quality and tenant satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances.
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure cost-effective repairs.
• Familiarity with local building codes and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
• Assign and oversee work orders for timely repairs.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback for improvement.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and evaluating staff.
• Perform general maintenance tasks across systems.
• Ensure units turnover and move-in readiness.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide technical guidance.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized services.
• Maintain records, conduct inspections, and report to management.
• Communicate with property managers and tenants.
