Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II at the Jackson, MS facility. The role focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining complex manufacturing equipment, with emphasis on dielectric welding and PLC systems.

You will lead entry-level staff and diagnose issues to minimize downtime. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least four years of industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with dielectric welding equipment, PLC troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, training, and coaching for entry-level staff.
• Troubleshoot dielectric welding equipment and high-frequency generators.
• Independently diagnose complex failures to implement permanent fixes.
• Perform precision calibration and high-tolerance installations.
• Lead small maintenance projects and act as technical lead during machine downtime.
• Document repairs in CMMS (MaintainX) and help plan preventive maintenance.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety protocols across the team.
