Job summary
Providence Real Estate, LLC is seeking a Service Technician II to join our maintenance team in Orlando. This position supports the Service Manager in ensuring safety, appearance, and operation standards across the community, with responsibilities spanning HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs, as well as make-ready duties for vacant units.
The role requires independent work on complex repairs, training for junior technicians, and occasional weekend/evening shifts with on-call duties.
Qualifications
- EPA certification/relevant HVAC and electrical knowledge
- Experience with painting, carpentry, plumbing, and appliance service
- Ability to read and follow instructions and maintain records
- Strong safety, communication, and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor and complete work orders on a priority basis.
- Document work order logs accurately per policies.
- Follow EPA refrigerant handling and log requirements.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents and perform make-ready tasks.
- Provide on-call emergency maintenance services as needed.
- Train junior technicians and maintain a clean, safe work area.
