Maintenance Technician
Providence Real Estate | Pine Harbour | Orlando, FL
$23–$26 per hour + comprehensive benefits | Full-time
Are you an experienced maintenance tech who takes pride in solving problems and keeping residents happy? Providence Real Estate is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Pine Harbour, a 366-unit multifamily apartment community in Orlando, FL. It's a good fit for a skilled tech with HVAC experience who likes working independently, handling tougher repairs, and helping newer team members build their skills.
As a Maintenance Technician on the Pine Harbour service team, you'll keep the community safe, comfortable, and looking its best. Most days, you'll work through resident work orders by priority. You'll find the cause of each problem and fix it the first time, whether it's HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, or carpentry. With Florida's climate, HVAC is a big part of the job. You'll diagnose and repair AC systems on your own and follow EPA refrigerant handling and logging requirements.
You'll also play a key role in apartment turns and make-ready work, including painting, drywall repair, and getting vacant units ready for move-in. You'll help run our preventative maintenance program for water heaters, AC units, lighting, sewer lines, and building structures. You'll inspect buildings, grounds, and common areas, and you'll be part of a rotating emergency on-call schedule.
This job is physically active. It involves climbing ladders and stairs, working in tight spaces such as attics and under counters, working indoors and outdoors in Florida heat and rain, and occasionally lifting up to 100 lbs with proper technique or help.
Providence Real Estate is an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports Fair Housing. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
