This classified position follows State Civil Service rules. Schedule 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, Mon–Fri with on-call; salary range $21.05–$29.47 hourly, depending on qualifications.

An ideal candidate brings 3+ years in building trades or a related program; lead worker duties and safety compliance included.

Responsibilities

• Lead worker over maintenance personnel; assign, coordinate, and inspect work.
• Ensure availability of tools, materials, equipment, and resources for jobs.
• Provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to staff.
• Perform advanced installation, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Read blueprints and oversee maintenance projects to ensure safety and spec compliance.
• Maintain maintenance records and perform emergency repairs and special projects.
