Wingate Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to lead and participate in maintenance operations at our Portland, ME property. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance and prepare apartments for new residents, while maintaining common areas and equipment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience as a Maintenance Technician, with HVAC knowledge (boilers/heating systems) and strong preventative maintenance skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general areas.
• HVAC knowledge, especially boilers and heating systems.
• Experience with apartment turnovers, preventative maintenance and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Prepare apartments for new residents (turnovers).
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment.
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively.
• Coordinate with vendors and safely use tools/equipment.
