Job summary

Eagle Rock Properties in Arlington, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep apartments, exterior areas, and common spaces in top condition under supervision of the Property Manager or Maintenance Manager.

You will apply HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair skills, support make-ready and turnover, and uphold safety codes while providing reliable service to residents, including weekend shifts and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school and/or military training or industry designation (CAMT or CAMT II).
• EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal) recommended.

Responsibilities

• Maintains apartments, exterior, and common areas to ensure appearance and operation.
• Performs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs as needed.
• Manages make-ready and turnover to lease apartments quickly.
• Follows preventative maintenance programs and safety codes.
• Handles weekends and participates in the emergency on-call rotation.
