Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a maintenance technician to perform light maintenance, repair, and cleaning tasks in a safe, professional manner at our Sioux Falls facility. You will work with blueprints, schematics, and manuals, and supervise others while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

The role requires basic mechanical knowledge, five years in building systems, and the ability to coordinate with management and staff. Union status is No; on-site shifts and a 40-hour week apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Five years of experience in building systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for light maintenance repair and cleaning tasks in a safe, professional manner.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals as needed.
• Perform and oversee quality inspections to ensure work orders meet engineering standards.
• Coordinate with staff and management on department operations and staffing when required.
• Direct and supervise other maintenance mechanics and support departments as needed.
