Job summary

Sanford is seeking a maintenance technician to perform light maintenance repair and cleaning tasks in a safe, professional manner. The role requires basic mechanical knowledge, use of hand tools, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics when helpful.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting conditions, explaining issues clearly, and following department safety policies. Some shifts and on-call duties may be required to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade/vocational school preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in building systems preferred.
• Depending on location, a valid driver's license and a good driving record may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance repair and cleaning tasks in a safe, professional manner.
• Follow safety protocols and use tools and gauges to troubleshoot and repair as needed.

• May be required to be on-call as directed by the department.
