Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
• Experience using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot machinery.
• Electrical, plumbing, or related skills demonstrated.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-diagnosis abilities.
• Good physical condition; ability to work long shifts and nights.
• Trade school diploma or apprenticeship completed.
• Forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to keep machines and building systems running smoothly.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and consult manuals as needed.
• Repair machines and equipment using hand and power tools.
• Maintain equipment in cafeterias, laundries, hospitals, stores, offices or factories.
• Assemble or repair wiring, piping, or machinery components.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to improve skills.
