Job summary

LeoForce in Parsippany, NJ is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical and electronic systems that support manufacturing equipment and facility operations.

You will read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, perform diagnostic testing and preventive maintenance, support automation and high‑voltage equipment, and follow safety procedures and union agreements to keep downtime to a minimum.

Qualifications

• Mid level experience in electrical maintenance.
• Experience with diagnosing and repairing industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical and electronic systems supporting manufacturing equipment and facility operations.
• Perform diagnostic testing, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electronically controlled machinery and electrical infrastructure.
• Ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and workplace safety through effective maintenance practices.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment to identify root causes and minimize equipment downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical documentation, and equipment manuals.
• Support industrial automation systems and high-voltage electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Apply technical training and hands-on experience in electrical or electronic technology to maintain complex industrial equipment.
• Assist with general maintenance activities and other facility support functions as needed.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a safety-first approach when working with electrical and industrial equipment.
• Work in accordance with the terms and requirements of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
• Maintain reliable and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems through proactive troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
