Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing maintenance role.
• Proficient with electrical and manual maintenance tools.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Experience diagnosing machinery with diagnostic tools.
• Skilled in electrical or plumbing fields.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-diagnosis abilities.
• Good physical condition; capable of long shifts and overnights.
• Diploma from a trade school or completion of an apprenticeship.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Good math skills and understanding of measurements.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines and building systems running smoothly.
• Inspect and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and plan repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and read blueprints or manuals as needed.
• Repair machines using tools and precision instruments.
• Maintain equipment in cafeterias, laundries, hospitals, stores, offices, or factories.
• Install wiring, piping, or other mechanical components as required.
• Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff.
