Job summary

LeoForce in Vernon, CA is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed automated production equipment in a GMP food manufacturing facility. The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-system issues with a hands-on approach.

You will perform preventative maintenance, work with PLCs, VFDs, and CMMS, and mentor junior technicians while upholding safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience with 480V and below systems.
• Experience with VFDs, servo systems, motor controls, and industrial automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot relays, contactors, sensors, and control circuits.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
• Familiarity with HMI systems and industrial instrumentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude including hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and alignment.
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, infrared, ultrasound).
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed automated production equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls issues.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, VFDs, panels, sensors, and safety circuits.
• Support PLC troubleshooting and I/O diagnostics.
• Maintain equipment reliability while minimizing downtime.
• Perform precision rebuilds, alignments, and installations.
• Utilize CMMS to document work orders and maintenance activities.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety and sanitation standards.
