Job summary

MAXX Properties is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in Tampa, FL to support Deerpath on the Lake apartments. The role includes preparing units, handling resident requests, and on-call maintenance alongside a supervisor, with opportunities to grow skills in building and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

Basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repairs and general maintenance.
EPA Type II or Universal certification is preferred.
Energetic, responsible and organized.
A true team-player mentality.

Responsibilities

Prepare or assist in preparing vacant apartments to a market-ready condition.
Respond to resident service requests (light bulbs, minor HVAC, caulking, appliance repairs, filter changes).
Perform on-call emergency service as required.
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor on special projects.
Assist with keeping grounds and common areas clean.
