Job summary

Tonti Properties is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee on-site maintenance across our communities. You will lead a hands-on team, handle work orders, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and curb appeal align with our standards.

We value independent problem-solving, strong customer service, and a proactive attitude toward resident satisfaction. A valid driver’s license and EPA HVAC certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in property maintenance or a related field.
• Experience leading a maintenance team.
• HVAC or Universal EPA Certification required.
• Strong knowledge and safe operation of tools (hand tools, power tools, measuring devices).
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently and efficiently.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and resident satisfaction.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and work with the Property Manager to run budgets and schedules.
• Complete work orders and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot issues, coordinate vendors, and ensure safety and curb appeal standards.
• Drive quality and efficiency to provide a great living experience for residents.
