Overview

Walsh Infrastructure Management LLC is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for the TAMPA I-4 / I-275 area in Tampa, FL.

The Lead Maintenance Technician will perform physical labor tasks on job sites, including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects. Responsibilities may include operating hand and/or power tools, preparing sites, and assisting with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor tasks as instructed by supervisor
• Work with crew members and operate various hand and power tools including drills and hammers
• Clean and prepare job sites, including erecting scaffolding, removing debris, and digging trenches
• Load and unload supplies manually and with equipment

Qualifications

• Verifiable construction experience preferred (1 year)
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
• Adherence to safety policies and effective communication skills
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods
