An established industry player seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical integrity of a vibrant community. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff, involving hands-on maintenance, problem-solving, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property maintenance, with at least three years of experience, and will be responsible for overseeing maintenance staff and ensuring timely completion of service requests. The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community, ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role involves anticipating, identifying, and correcting problems involving the property and implementing preventive procedures. The position aims to:
Conduct all business in accordance with company policies, laws, and regulations such as OSHA, ADA, and Fair Housing.
Complete all required Grace Hill courses by deadlines.
Diagnose and perform minor and routine repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and other property systems, ensuring repairs are completed correctly and on schedule.
At least 3 years of experience in property maintenance or a similar field.
40 hours per week, with weekends and on-call duties as needed.
Knowledge of safety equipment, tools, and machinery, with physical ability to perform tasks including lifting over 50 lbs., climbing, reaching, and working in various environments.
Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance for travel requirements.
Primarily indoors, with outdoor work and exposure to various conditions and potential hazards.
High ability to apply logical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
