Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment uptime through troubleshooting and repair of production and facilities equipment. The role requires reading schematics, repairing conveyors, chillers, and other plant systems, and collaborating with operators and maintenance staff to resolve issues on shift.

Eligible candidates should have multiple years of maintenance experience, be able to lead technical fixes, and own basic tools.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in field or similar maintenance environment.
• 4 years of experience in the position.
• 4 years of experience managing people or projects.
• Ability to read schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
• Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Own toolbox and basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment.
• Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with Niagara’s processes.
• Maintain industrial control systems.
• Work independently and with others to complete repairs safely and timely.
• May fill in for production operator as needed.
• Create and report repairs; document parts and material usage.
• Follow plant safety rules including PPE usage.
• Attend consistently as an essential function.
• Duties and responsibilities may change with notice.
