Description

As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you oversee ongoing facility maintenance and repairs to keep the company’s multifamily property operating and looking its best.

The How…

You will leverage your five-plus years of experience in property maintenance, including at least one year in a supervisory role, to address work orders and repair issues proactively.

You will utilize your technical certifications, such as HVAC, CPO, electrical, or plumbing, to handle specialized tasks.

You aim to positively impact residents’ lives by maintaining the property and amenities, setting standards through your hands-on approach.

You lead by example, assist team members, manage the Make-Ready board, and ensure grounds maintenance.

You communicate effectively with residents and staff, resolve issues, and prioritize safety, including proper handling of chemicals per EPA standards.

The Details…

This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, with occasional on-call hours. You must maintain your own toolkit and have a valid driver’s license for property mobility.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED, with at least 4 years relevant experience, including supervisory experience
  • Technical certifications in HVAC, plumbing, electrical; HVAC S1/S2 preferred
  • Experience in building maintenance, HVAC repair, or related fields
  • Own tools and valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
  • Work hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with on-call and occasional weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently, 50 lbs occasionally
  • Use of hands and physical mobility required
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
