Job summary

Thrive Freeze Dry seeks a Maintenance Lead for the 3rd shift to supervise and drive reliability across production and facility equipment in Oak Creek, WI. The role requires hands-on maintenance, strong leadership, and adherence to safety and food-safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in manufacturing maintenance, electrical and mechanical skills, and proven ability to manage a team and improve maintenance processes. The job is full-time, on-site with strong safety emphasis.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent years of maintenance experience.
• AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills including ammonia/refrigeration and HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders; diagnose and repair faults.
• Lead and coach the maintenance team; ensure safety and food safety compliance.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and report unsafe conditions.
• On-call maintenance duties and on-call support as needed.
• Assist in creating SOPs and process improvements.
