A leading company in industrial process fluids is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician. You will assist with planning while maintaining a safe working environment. The role requires technical expertise and leadership, with responsibilities including equipment troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.

Position Summary:
The Lead Maintenance Technician will assist the Facilities Manager in planning and preparing projects and significant repairs, orienting and training both new and current maintenance personnel, assigning and reviewing the work of maintenance employees, and assisting technicians as needed. Additionally, this position will perform various tasks such as installing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining production and facility equipment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assign tasks to maintenance department employees across three shifts.
Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and facilities equipment.
Assist other department personnel with troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
Contribute to project work, including pipe fitting, fabrication, rigging, and more.
Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner to enhance the Preventive Maintenance program.
Assist in training department personnel, typically through on-the-job training.
This position may require after hours work or calls
Purchase materials and supplies needed for departmental use
Oversee contractors while they are working onsite
Education, Experience, Skills & Competencies:
Key Education or Certification Required
Demonstrate at least four years of experience and responsibility in maintenance.
Must have experience in electrical work, plumbing, and pipefitting.
Must be a results-oriented team player, effective in problem-solving and project planning, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high energy, and strong attention to detail.
Demonstrates a solid technical knowledge of various facility processes and understands all relevant regulations and standards.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
The associate will work in an office and lab environment and may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, moving mechanical parts, the risk of electrical shock, and trip and slip hazards. The noise level in the lab environment is sometimes loud. The associate may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
