SpaceX Job Opportunity: Lead Starlink Production Technician (Phased Array) - 1st Shift

Position: Lead Starlink Production Technician (Phased Array) - 1st Shift

Starlink, one of SpaceX's most ambitious projects, aims to provide reliable internet worldwide through a satellite constellation. We seek talented lead technicians to support full-scale production of Starlink satellites. Success depends on the quality, reliability, cost, manufacturability, throughput, and security of the products.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the satellite production team to meet daily production goals.
  2. Assist in developing production processes and identify continuous improvements.
  3. Communicate daily output, address slowdowns, and escalate blockers.
  4. Forecast workload to ensure availability of tools and materials.
  5. Train technicians and provide feedback on their techniques and efficiency.
  6. Maintain and enforce 5S principles and safety standards.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months as a SpaceX Technician or 1 year in aerospace production.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience as a mechanical technician or with SpaceX vehicle integration.
  • Ability to read schematics and instructions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Adaptability to changing tasks and fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Understanding of SpaceX enterprise systems (e.g., Warpdrive).
Additional Requirements:
  • Availability for 1st shift, overtime, and weekends (approx. 5AM-3:30PM).
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lbs.
