Job summary

The Tipton Asset Group, Inc. in Tyler, TX is seeking a lead maintenance technician for a 104-unit property.

You will maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of the community, ensuring resident satisfaction and upkeeping standards. Responsibilities include on-call 24-hour emergencies, basic grounds work, and hands-on maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Multifamily experience and HVAC certification required.
• Provide/use of own tools.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.

The Job

Our maintenance professionals are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative.

The Details

Our Maintenance Technicians should meet the following criteria:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Must have multifamily experience and be HVAC certified
• Provide/use of own tools
• Must be able to maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
• Possess basic knowledge of the following: HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
