Job Summary

Responsible for supervising and coordinating maintenance activities related to equipment setup, installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure continuous plant operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery
• Test malfunctioning machinery, diagnose issues, and assign repairs
• Oversee dismantling, assembling, and installing equipment and machinery
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders, and assign duties accordingly
• Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production goals
• Recommend improvements for production methods and equipment performance
• Implement and monitor routine and preventive maintenance schedules
• Order parts and tools needed for maintenance and projects
• Coordinate maintenance services with outside vendors
• Suggest improvements to working conditions and equipment use
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent plus at least 2 years of experience as a head mechanic or similar role
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions
• Ability to read manuals and follow instructions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Skilled in using hand and power tools
• Understanding of safety and industrial hygiene standards
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in extreme conditions
