Fairfield Property Management is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician with outstanding leadership skills to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining various aspects of our community, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and painting. You will also lead and inspire the maintenance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment, and developing strong relationships with residents and team members to ensure an excellent living experience.

Job Highlights

• Perform general maintenance for the upkeep of the property
• Oversee the maintenance team
• Collaborate with the Property Manager to meet maintenance goals and standards
• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues across various systems
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using the make-ready checklist
• Check quality of work performed by vendors
• Maintain property grounds and curb appeal
• Manage the maintenance shop and ensure tools and supplies are available

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential property
• EPA Certification required
• Professional, courteous, and patient interaction skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• On-call availability and prompt response to calls
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance
