As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall functionality of our properties. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining and enhancing our residents' living experiences. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Diagnosing and repairing issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features, and waste management systems.
• Organizing and completing work orders and maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Preparing vacant apartments and garages for new residents, including cleaning, repairs, and touch-ups.
• Training, mentoring, and overseeing Maintenance Technicians I and II.
• Conducting preventative maintenance.
• Inspecting grounds and buildings daily to identify maintenance needs.
• Maintaining a safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures.
• Performing Hot Works, including brazing, soldering, and welding, as per standards.

You Have:

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• A valid driver’s license.
• HVAC (CFC certifications required or willingness to learn).
• Ability to work on-call on a rotating schedule.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and staff.
• Understanding of policies, safety data sheets, and chemical handling.
• Knowledge of PPE and emergency systems.
• Basic painting skills.
