Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to ensure high-quality guest experiences at our Orlando property. You will lead shifts, perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment, and supervise associates to uphold safety and standards.

Expect active involvement in equipment inspections, repairs, and regulatory compliance while supporting a welcoming resort environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities/maintenance roles preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Installs and maintains appliances, electronics, and equipment.
• Leads shifts and supervises associates as scheduled.
• Performs preventative maintenance for all kitchen equipment according to standard.
• Monitors resort sprinkler systems to ensure accordance with company policy and local code.
• Inspects, repairs, and maintains HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.

As a Lead Maintenance Technician, a typical day will include:

To Become a Lead Maintenance Technician at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 75lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
