A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to provide expertise in preventative maintenance of plant equipment. Qualifications

  • 5+ years of maintenance and repair experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical required.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Job description

Shift: 2nd Shift

Summary:

As the Senior Maintenance Technician, you will provide expertise in preventative maintenance of plant equipment. You will assist with equipment installation and start-up.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine preventative maintenance activities supporting organizational TPM on various equipment.
  2. Identify areas for improvement to enhance machine reliability and output, and incorporate these into the CMMS.
  3. Optimize maintenance resources to repair equipment to OEM standards.
  4. Repair facility and building items as needed.
  5. Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic problems on production and facility equipment.
  6. Accurately log all work into the CMMS.
  7. Complete end-of-shift reports to ensure effective communication between Maintenance and Production.
  8. Maintain adequate stock levels for repair parts.
  9. Coordinate with cross-functional departments to schedule downtime for repairs.
Requirements:
  1. High School Diploma/GED required.
  2. Associate's Degree or Technical Certificate preferred.
  3. 5+ years of maintenance and repair experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  4. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  5. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  6. Ability to pass pre-employment physical required.
