AvalonBay Communities is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician who thrives on innovation, excels in problem-solving, and is dedicated to providing residents with an extraordinary living experience. This role offers an opportunity to shine and be a pivotal force in redefining apartment living.
As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the safety, comfort, and functionality of our properties. Your responsibilities include diagnosing problems and making repairs to maintain and enhance residents' living experiences. Key duties include:

You Have
- 3+ years of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- HVAC (CFC) certification or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
- Strong communication skills for resident and team interactions.
- Ability to read policies, SDS sheets, and handle chemicals safely.
- Knowledge of PPE and emergency systems.
- Basic paint and maintenance knowledge.
