Pay Rate: $31.00-39.00/hour*

Summary

The Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician provides maintenance, service, and repair for commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration, such as grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, freezers, etc.

Details

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
• Communicate repair status updates with customers and branch office.
• Coordinate parts information with branch.
• Complete service calls accurately, timely, and safely.
• Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are available.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms per company policies.
• Meet on-call requirements.

Required Education | Experience

• Minimum of three years experience in commercial kitchen repair and/or refrigeration/HVAC service.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets safety standards.
• Satisfactory background check and drug screening required.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work independently.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus.
• Journeyman License and/or CFESA certification are a plus but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and soft skills.
• Good driving record.
