Job summary

MITER Brands in Venice, FL is seeking a skilled lead maintenance tech with a strong mechanical and electrical background to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment, while training lower-skill technicians and coordinating with utilities and contractors.

Typical shift is 5pm to 5am, Friday through Sunday, with pay in the $28–$38 per hour range plus a $1.50 per hour differential for SD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a manufacturing maintenance role.
• Experience in a manufacturing plant with electrical/mechanical focus.
• Ability to train other technicians of lower skill level.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe maintenance, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of plant equipment.
• Maintain open communication with maintenance staff and supervisor.
• Complete work orders and document all necessary information.
• Maintain BOMs and assist with parts inventories.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for projects.
