Job summary

MITER Brands in Nokomis, FL is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 5:00pm-1:30am). Pay range $69,000-$85,000 and opportunity to work overtime as needed. You will supervise production line teams, coach staff, drive continuous improvement with LEAN principles, track times, ensure safety, and sustain quality.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Three-plus years in a manufacturing leadership role with multi-line responsibility.
• Strong background in LEAN process improvement principles and process management experience.
• Experience improving operations (Units Per Employee Hour, reduced costs, etc.).
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
• Must be an effective communicator, able to teach and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Leads by example with safety, integrity, efficiency, and creativity.
• Schedules and directs team members within the production line for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Provides coaching, recognition, and development opportunities.
• Cross-trains team members and rotates assignments.
• Maintains time and production records daily.
• Ensures integrity of work produced on the line.
• Develops and implements measures to improve methods, equipment performance, and quality.
• Suggests changes to increase department efficiency.
• Prepares training materials and communicates safety, quality, and KPIs to the team.
• Maintains safety and conducts investigations when needed.
• Administers company policies fairly.
• Encourages employee input to improve safety, quality, productivity, and costs.
• Maintains regular department meetings and clear communication.
• Performs other duties as required.
