MITER Brands in Venice, FL is seeking an Electrical and Controls Tech with a strong mechanical background to join our manufacturing team. The position offers an hourly rate of $32-$38 based on experience and testing scores, with a 5pm–5am shift Fri-Sun and paid 40 hours, plus $0.50 for SD.

The successful candidate will support site automation, SCADA, data backups, and maintenance activities while advancing into a higher-level role. Excellent communication and safety adherence are essential.

Formación

• AS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or 4-5 years related experience.
• Minimum 10 years manufacturing experience: automation, controls, electrical/mechanical craft, IT
• Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance work
• Strong English language and communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct front-line support of site process automation and data collection systems.
• Support Process Automation Engineering system owners for exclusive process automation systems (e.g. SCADA, data backups).
• Follow site procedures and technical standards for the automation function.
• Execute continuous improvement and upgrade projects for process automation systems.
• Conduct and analyze condition-based predictive maintenance activities (e.g. infrared thermography, vibration monitoring) to detect early onset of equipment failures.
• Ability to perform mid-level mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
