Job summary
MITER Brands is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech in Fort Myers, Florida to join our manufacturing team. A strong mechanical and electrical background, good communication, and drive to advance are essential.
The position offers an hourly rate of $25-$37 plus $1.25 shift differential, with a Monday-Thursday 6pm-4am shift. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing production equipment; performing preventive maintenance; welding and sheet metal work; and documenting changes
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years experience in certified equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Attention to detail and established procedures.
Responsibilities
- Install, adjust, and repair production equipment including controls and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Inspect equipment for lubrication and perform preventive maintenance.
- Learn MP#2 program information.
- Diagnose operating problems and replace parts; log changes.
- Refer complex issues to supervisor or senior mechanics.
- Operate hand and power tools and welding equipment; sheet metal work as needed.
- Inspect performance after repairs and document part usage.
