MITER Brands in Venice, Florida is seeking an Electrical and Controls tech with strong mechanical and electrical background for a night shift. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements in a manufacturing setting, with competitive hourly rates and potential for advancement.

Required: 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, basic electrical knowledge, PLC exposure, ability to read schematics, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• 3+ years in a manufacturing plant maintenance role
• Technical or trade school degree preferred or HS diploma + 2 years in maintenance
• Basic understanding of industrial electricity
• Working knowledge of utility equipment power sources (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic)
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints
• OSHA & safety policy compliance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong math and analytical skills

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair equipment in assigned area
• Maintain clear communication with maintenance team and supervisor
• Complete work orders accurately and document completion details
• Manage maintenance, repair, and operation documentation in Proteus
• Work with outside contractors on projects and improvements
• Maintain proper parts inventories
• Ensure safe work practices per OSHA and company rules
• Support training of lower-skilled technicians
