Job summary

Fairfield Residential in Dallas is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician responsible for daily upkeep across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, and appliances. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained common areas and units.

The role includes supervising outside contractors in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, maintaining inventory, and following safety and compliance policies.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance repair skills.
• HVAC-EPA Type II or EPA Universal license required or in process.
• CPO license strongly preferred; must obtain within 90 days if hired.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks and diagnose/repair issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, and appliances.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Supervise duties and outside contractors in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
• Schedule and document preventative maintenance and apartment turns.
• Conduct regular inspections of common areas and equipment.
