Job summary

Atlantic Pacific Companies in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for The Residences at Arbor Oaks, a 192-unit affordable community. The technician will perform routine maintenance in apartments, common areas, and amenities, and prepare vacants for move-ins.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, landscaping, painting, cleaning, and appliance care.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED plus 1–2 years’ apartment maintenance experience.
EPA I/II, Universal or HVAC certified required.
CPO certification is a plus; pool maintenance experience required.
Supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair buildings including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, pools, utilities, elevators, fencing/gates and fire systems.
Complete service requests/work orders within 24 hours as directed.
Log and complete apartment service tickets accurately and timely.
Prepare vacant apartments by turnover: maintenance, painting, cleaning and carpet care.
Replace worn or damaged parts in machines and equipment used in maintenance.
Assist in ordering supplies for the property.
Clean interior and exterior areas and wash windows.
