Job summary

AGP Services is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for our property in Houston, Royal Palms Apartments. The role involves performing complex maintenance, diagnosing issues, and ensuring tenant satisfaction at a 125-unit affordable housing property.

You will lead routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and coordinate with contractors. Requires 3–5 years of experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver's license; in-person work with safety compliance and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications are a plus.
Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
Ability to read manuals/diagrams and perform repairs.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
Diagnose and repair building issues, including mechanical, structural, and safety systems.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and ensure systems operate efficiently.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests with prompt service.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for major repairs or projects.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs; train junior staff when needed.
