Landmark Hotel Group is seeking a dynamic Lead Maintenance Technician for Comfort Suites Chesapeake. This full-time role responsibilities include supervising daily maintenance work, coordinating materials, and maintaining equipment to ensure guest satisfaction.

The candidate will perform electrical, plumbing and HVAC tasks and uphold safety and service standards across guest rooms and public areas. The position requires hands-on leadership, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in a hotel or commercial setting.
• Journeyman level in electrical, mechanical, plumbing or HVAC trades.
• Understanding of budgeting and expense control; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily work assignments from Chief Engineer and set priorities.
• Lead and supervise all ongoing maintenance work and repairs.
• Organize materials, tools and equipment for daily tasks.
• Maintain hotel appearance; lead by example in a hands-on role.
• Maintain quality and service standards aligned with company mission.
• Perform electrical, plumbing and preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
• Handle chemicals per hotel safety requirements.

We are seeking a dynamic Lead Maintenance Technician who loves to take care of our guests and is genuinely invested in the overall operation and success of the hotel. Core Responsibilities

• Receive daily work assignments from Chief Engineer and review priorities and special projects.
• Active management in the supervision of all work and repairs being performed.
• Organize materials, tools and equipment to perform daily assignments
• Complete responsibility for maintaining the hotel's appearance, equipment and systems. This is a hands on position that requires active, vigorous leadership.
• Focus on quality, service standards, and the company mission statement is of paramount importance.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, preventative maintenance to guest rooms and public area work orders.
• Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces according to hotel requirements.

Qualifications

• Commensurate or transfer skill set is primary importance. Three years experience in a hotel or commercial setting is required.
• Journey person experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing or HVAC trade.
• Knowledge and experience in budgeting and expense control.
• Good attitude and work ethic practices in order to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
