Job summary

Momentive is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to guide a skilled unionized maintenance team at our Waterford, NY plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations. You will oversee daily maintenance execution, prioritize workloads, and coordinate with Operations, Planning, Process Leaders, and Manufacturing Engineers to deliver timely repairs and reliability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in industrial maintenance or related technical certification; plus 5 years of supervision experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is preferred or equivalent.
• Six Sigma Green Belt training is a plus.
• Experience with SAP maintenance and purchasing transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse union workforce and contractors.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience managing capital projects and maintenance budgets.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs.
• Coordinate with Operations and Planning for work allocation.
• Confirm direct reports' timekeeping and contractor time entries.
• Ensure maintenance compliance and oversee hourly crafts.
• Approve Kronos timekeeping and adjust SAP availability.
• Log deviations and conduct disciplinary actions when needed.
• Create proactive and remediation notifications in SAP (M1/PM01).
• Distribute work orders and coordinate with contractors.
• Ensure TECO for PM and remediation work orders in SAP.
• Review delays and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve equipment reliability.
• Drive improvements in maintenance practices, costs, and EHS.
• Ensure 100% training compliance for direct reports.
• Address deficiencies and grievances.
