Job summary

Cumberland Dairy in New Jersey is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to direct a team of maintenance staff and oversee predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance across plant equipment. You will drive safety programs, coaching, and performance development while coordinating with the maintenance manager on capital projects and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 4+ years in maintenance leadership, familiarity with SAP, and a strong drive to minimize downtime through proactive asset

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 4+ years of maintenance or related experience with leadership aptitude or supervisory experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience and safety policy experience.
• Experience in a food, beverage, or Rx manufacturing setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide work direction and supervision to maintenance employees and prioritize daily jobs.
• Implement predictive/preventive maintenance to maximize asset lifespan and reduce downtime.
• Utilize SAP for task planning, parts, and downtime scheduling.
• Ensure staff understands work practices and safety procedures.
• Support root cause analysis and capital projects with maintenance manager.
• Maintain records via databases and CMMS; mentor and develop staff.
• Monitor and improve preventative maintenance programs and scheduling.
• Serve as first point of contact for emergency maintenance requests.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, food safety, and sanitation standards.
